SWAGS!

NAKED forces WAGs have sprawled themselves across their partners' kit to raise cash for our injured heroes.

With tanks and fighter planes as their backdrops, the mini Army of beauties declared phwoar by baring all to make a nude calendar in aid of forces charity Help for Heroes.

The Servicemen's Wives and Girlfriends (SWAGs) were inspired by their husbands and boyfriends putting their lives on the line for the country.

So the elite unit of stunners stripped off to prove their bravery too.

The 2010 calendar was the brainchild of 20-year-old Kelly Monk whose husband-to-be is in the Army.

Pretty Kelly knows only to well the importance of The Sun-backed wounded troops cause from hearing fiancee Pte Andrew Mason's tales of war from two tours of Afghanistan.

She she got the lovers of other troops to join the ranks after spreading the word on online forces forums.

"Everyone connected to the forces is so proud of the charity and wants to raise money for it," Kelly said.

"I wanted to do something a bit different and was joking around at first but then one thing led to another."

Kelly, from Southampton, Hampshire, had no problem finding 40 babes willing to peel off their clothes.

"We were all total strangers," she added.

"But you get to know people very quickly when you are all standing there naked."

The team led by lucky snapper Roy Gooding were keen to bring a military flavour to the calendar.

So they posed up with battle tanks and even sun-bathed on the wing an RAF jet.

Others got hot and soapy washing planes and Army vehicles in the buff.

"It was important to make the calendar to be action packed.

"It looks fantastic and is a real team effort," she added.

Extroverted Kelly is Miss January sitting in the cockpit of a fearsome Sea Vixen plane.

She said Andrew, 21, serving with the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, is right behind her.

"He thinks I'm a nutter but he doesn't seem to mind too much.

"He is very supportive of what I'm doing and he knows its for a good cause."

Fellow forces nudist Lynsey Keast revealed all in a Navy submarine with only a small strategically placed work-belt protecting her modesty.

"I was a bit nervous, but within about 10 minutes we all realised that we were in the same boat and it was a great laugh," the 24-year-old from Tidworth, Wiltshire, said.

Her boyfriend Sgt Andrew Moffat, 26, has toured Iraq with 3 Division Royal Signals.

"He is just so proud of me and all the girls," she added.

"We just wanted to give something back."

Photographer Roy said: "We hope to raise £50,000 and I think that is very achievable.

"But I'm certainly a lucky man to be able to photograph all these girls."

Top brass have also saluted the saucy fundraiser.

Army chief General Sir Richard Dannatt praised the SWAGs and said: "I hope your efforts and the calendar are a great success in raising money for Help for Heroes.

"On behalf of those serving, thank you for your brilliant support to our troops."
